My goal is to not only to help you arrange your home or business with specific goals in mind, but also to make it functional and beautiful. I want you to LOVE being where you live and work. This could include paint and color choices, fabric and art selections along with furniture placement to name a few of the options, however before Feng Shui can actually be incorporated and affect change, clutter needs to be cleared.
Clearing clutter and organizing is one of the most powerful, transformative aspects of Feng Shui and changes rarely occur until this process has taken place. Clutter is stuck energy. It begins as a symptom of the problems in your personal life, and then produces a 'snowball effect'. The clutter leads to stagnation, then to more clutter, then more stagnation. Wherever there is clutter in your home or business, you can be sure that this is the area of your life in which you are having problems.
Because each aspect of your life (wealth, fame, relationships, creativity, helpful people, career, knowledge and health) is anchored energetically in your living or work space, clearing clutter or the stuck energy can completely transform your life. For this reason Kathryn always takes the Bagua Map* into consideration when working with you.
Once clutter is cleared, we will look at furniture placement, balancing the five elements and if needed, make wise new choices on furniture, textiles, art and furnishings to complete the look and bring intention to your space.
Living and working in a home or business that follows the principles of Feng Shui often leads to more rewarding relationships, an improvement in health and an increase in one's prosperity.
When your appointment has been confirmed, Kathryn will need a floor plan of the main level of your home or business on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper. Include any existing attached structures such as patios, porches, or garage and clearly mark the front door. Please FAX or send via mail at least three days before our visit.
*The Bagua map originates from the I Ching, or Book of Changes, and describes the eight building blocks or trigrams. Each is associated with specific 'treasures' in life i.e. career, wealth etc. and is used to correspond to the treasures in one's own life. Successful results occur when the Bagua map is placed appropriately over your floor plan coupled with serious intention to produce positive results.
